New Employee Orientation: All new employees are required to attend an orientation. For information on what topics will be covered, go here.
Paperwork: On your first day, you'll need to have completed an employee verification and eligibility form. Learn more here.

Campus Map: Make sure you know where you're headed with the campus map.
Parking: If you need a parking pass, you'll get one through parking and mobility services.
Pioneer ID Card: You'll be required to obtain a Pioneer ID card, which will serve as your campus identification. It will grant access to buildings closed to the public and allow you to take advantage of discounted tickets for DU cultural and sporting events. Learn more here.

Human Resources & Inclusive Community
Visit our main Human Resources site for information on benefits, professional development, and employee support and resources.
Our Shared Services Center provides all you need to access and understand your benefits and compensation. The center also handles the processing and application of all personnel transactions, employment verification and compliance, recruiting support, reimbursement and procurement.
Our Office of Campus Safety is devoted to keeping faculty, staff and students alike secure.

- Training & Professional Development
All University of Denver employees are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program, which grants up to six free counseling sessions per year. Additional counseling services can be obtained through our Health & Counseling Center, as well as through our Trauma & Disaster Recovery Clinic or our Professional Psychology Clinic.
Office of Employee Support
The University of Denver's employees are critical to the University. DU wants to ensure that employees are given a safe and inclusive environment to work. The Office of Employee Support provides employee relations guidance and assistance to help address employee concerns.
Filing a Grievance
If ever you feel you've been directly and adversely affected in a professional capacity, or have ongoing conflict with a peer or manager, we offer a grievance process to help address the issue. Whether the issue stems from problems between staff members or a University policy you find discriminatory or otherwise harmful, you can make your voice heard.
Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX
The Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX works to ensure compliance with the University's anti-discrimination policies and promotes full compliance with all federal, state and local discrimination laws. The Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX can assist you with: consultation concerning issues of possible discrimination, harassment or retaliation as well as investigation of complaints of discrimination, harassment and retaliation, including sexual misconduct matters.
The University of Denver Libraries provide access to over 4.3 million volumes, half of which are available online. As a DU staff member, you're invited to utilize the valuable resources and services our libraries have to offer.

Bias Incident Reporting

All travelers are required to register in DU Passport, primarily for your safety, as the University can assist in emergency situations abroad and coordinate evacuation and repatriation benefits, if needed.
Women's Staff Alliance for Networking & Development (WAND)
WAND is committed to helping staff women at the University of Denver achieve their highest potential as employees by means of advocacy, education, development, networking and leadership. WAND provides a safe forum for discussing concerns and ideas while supporting the University's mission.
